This was an emotionally beautiful and heartbreaking story. John's voice is perfect in my opinion and his desperation and guilt over Sam's illness poked my emo!monster. *sniffle*

This is the John that I see when I watch the show. A father torn between the need for vengeance and the need to give his boys the life they deserve. A man haunted by the mistakes he's made and the hope that his boys will understand someday.
