Ooh, I like that. AUGH, I'm torn now! Because I love the above idea, but I also kind of dread writing John, and also know that eventually I'd prob want to ... get rid of him, through one means or another, to focus on the love-triangle dynamic. What could we do with him later? Would you be cool with it if we disappeared him after he went to search for Sam?
What are your thoughts on POV? Try to stick with one person, or switch in different chapters? I feel like Dean is the natural choice for the first section (going to Stanford and finding Sam & Jess, setting out on the road, Sam going missing). Then maybe Jess while Sam is gone, she finds out she's preggers, things get heated with Dean, and Sam comes back. Then Sam POV on Sam's return, freaking out over baby, figuring out what's up with Jess and Dean. And ... not sure from there. :)
