Resumes! Cover letters! Salary histories! References!

Dude. What happened to good old interviews?

I just sent off an email to two of my old managers asking if I can use them as references. Why am I all nervous and ooey-gooey in my middle? Why do I think everyone hated me and I was the worst employee in the world and no one would willingly give ME a reference?

Freaking wonderful. I just received a notification that one of the email addresses has failed which means she's no longer with the company. NOW what am I going to do? The job is asking for three references...I thought I had two (figured I could fudge one and have my sister do it) now I'm down to ONE!

I don't remember it being this hard!
