Oh what a day...(fanfic ramblings)

obeetaybeeit was a somewhat productive day at least, as far as my fanfic goes. (work? what is this work you speak of?)
I managed to get summaries written up to Chapter 17, and I think I also came up with my climax point. I really felt the need to stop at 17 because that's the point Draco is introduced into the story and I think I need to think about his whole purpose to the plot some more. I've written down the basic idea I had, but I'm sure I'll be doing expanding on the theme. Especially since he may or may not get mixed up with a red-haired minx.
The new HBP complient Chapter 2 went back to my wonderful beta reader at Checkmated, so I'm hoping that one will replace the old version soon. I'm hoping to get the rest of the chapters back soon, so we can start uploading the two new ones I have completed.
It's silly really, how excited I am about this silly story. This is the first piece of work I've written that's really shaping up to BE an actual story, with a beginning, a middle and an end. I'm also excited because with having this many chapters outlined, I know exactly where to go next instead of floundering for a month or two in between while trying to figure out where it was going to go.
What I do need to figure out is how to combine the advice of my two beta readers (I have one I was assigned from Phoenixsong and also the assigned one from Checkmated) to make one kick ass piece of work. Oh well, I'll figure it out soon, I'm sure.
Well, work is done and the kids and husband are home. Time to play happy mommy and figure out what were all going to eat for dinner tonight.
