Sam stared down as the infected slowly crawled through the empty warehouse. They were safe for the moment, high above. Too soon, they’ll be running for their lives.

“We need to go, Sam.”

“I know.”

“We’ve got two minutes before this place blows.”

“I know. I’m just…I can’t believe this. There’s no one?”

Dean sighed. “Once upon a time, maybe. They’re not human anymore and they’re after us. We’ve lost top billing on the food chain."

“The whole country is like this?”

Dean gritted his teeth. “You know the answer, Sam. Come on.”

He pulled Sam outside, began to run.
