Oh, Jessica Moore. If only they had let you live.

Because then maybe we could've had this!

Click for bigger. Trust me. CLICK IT.

How fucking hot does Adrienne look in that picture?

Can someone write an AU of this? Where Jess is pregnant with Sam's baby and totally kicking ass and killing monsters? Because that would be AWESOME.

Edited, just to say I can't wait for this movie to come out because holy hell, do I want crossover fics with Supernatural, ALREADY!

Edited, AGAIN, this time to add a link to the movie's website where there's a pretty intense trailer. I'm partial to the restricted one, but the normal trailer's pretty awesome too. Michael vs Gabriel, FTW!

I like the idea of John being there in the beginning, because if this is an AU where Jess never dies, it kinda makes sense that John would know what was going on, collect Dean and hightail it to CA for Sammy.

I also have no problems with losing John after Jess discovers she's pregnant. I just like that initial zing of angst where Dean needs to chose between John or Jess and the baby. Dean makes his choice and John goes off to hunt the zombies alone. We could do a throw away line--"...and they never him again."--or something like that.

We have to decide how Sam disappears too...is it just *poof* or is there something maybe lots of blood, sign of a struggle etc that would lead them to believe he's dead?

Also, I was thinking...should Sam and Jess have had a quickie Vegas wedding? Should John and Dean not even know they were married until they show up on their front doorstep and Sam's all, "this is my WIFE, whatever you say to me you can say to her." and this is when she learns about hunting and monsters or do you think Sam would have told her before?

I kinda like the idea of a creeping build up to the apocalypse, you know, odd news reports, bear attacks, riots and what not. Nothing really alarming at first and then suddenly BAM!

And there was something else I was thinking of too. I know it'll come to me eventually.

POV Voices:

Dean's first, definitely. I almost like the idea of his POV up until Sam back up. His feelings on her pregnancy, his feelings towards her, etc.

Should we leave the reader in the dark about what's going on with Sam or should we show him fighting in the Thunderdome?

Ooooh yes. I like your thoughts on early-apocalypse.

Hrrrmmm, re: Thunderdome - I feel like it's more important to show what's going on with Dean & Jess at that point, and if all we ever hear about the psykids showdown is from Sam, will probably be enough. But we can always see how we feel about it when we reach that point, & if either of us is inspired to write something Sam POV. In general I feel like it's usually better to have only one POV on a given span of time.

Also, word doc done and on its way to you!

I'm sure we can figure out something about the John thing, make him going away a useful part of the story.

re: Sam's disappearance, maybe we can pull an AHBL1 and have him more or less *poof*, but surrounding carnage indicate that he didn't just run away to join the circus. I like the idea of them not knowing and having no way to find out what happened to him. I feel like the Dean/Jess tensions are more interesting if they don't know whether he's dead or not.

I definitely think J & D should have no idea about the marriage - for one reason or another. Maybe they did a low-key town hall wedding cause they're too PC to go for the Judeo-Christian patriarchal floofy-white-dress variety (plus Sam doesn't want to admit he has no one to invite.) My thought is that when John and Dean arrive, the apocalypse is already really, really obvious, so Sam's filled Jess in and they're hunkered down defending themselves. (And actually, already have kind of a vision of the first scene - will email.)

Oh, man. You are so good. I've been working like a freaking monster the last two days so I haven't had a chance to do much of anything other than THINK about this.

So, if the apocalypse is in full swing, has Sam already taught Jess how to shoot and about guns and knives and stuff?

What if, and just throwing this out there, when Sam returns, Jess throws a KNIFE instead of shooting him? This way we can still have Dean teach her something and you know amp up the UST.

(Also, what about her family? Another throw away line about how they tried to save them and failed?)
